                                                                    DVD Instructions

The DVD discs that you are receiving are of the highest quality. The Primera Bravo Software that we use verifies that each DVD has been burned correctly. In addition we randomly choose at least five DVDs from your order to test play on regular home DVD players. We also take great care and wipe the surface of each DVD with care to protect against fingerprints or dust.

Still, we must tell you that all DVD discs and certainly all DVD players are not created equal. We use the Tuff Coat DVD-R to burn your project on. The DVD-R is the most compatible recordable DVD with most home DVD players. However you should understand that some older home DVD players may reject certain discs. Home DVD players should be replaced every three years to keep up with new technology.

If you should experience problems in playing one of your DVD discs you should do the following before calling us.

1.   Play the disc in a different DVD player in your home

2.   Take the DVD disc out and re insert the disc in your player.

3.   Take out the DVD disc and wipe it gently with a tissue and re-insert the disc into your player.

4.   Play your disc at a friend’s home on their player

5.   Look at your DVD players LED screen for error messages such as “Cannot Read DVD” this would mean that your player is not compatible with this particular DVD disc

It may be confusing when you think that your player will play a movie from the rental store but not your Keepsake photo Video project. However that may be because we do not replicate our DVDs as do the large pressing plants who use Glass mastering. We duplicate DVDs from a Master image.

Please call us if you experience problems playing your DVD We will recommend solutions to you and/or help you to replace DVDs.
